Japanese Hall (administrative host organization)

Founded in 1906 by early Japanese immigrants to Canada, VJLS-JH is a non-profit grassroots community organization committed to the values of education, culture and community.  It has continued to provide Japanese language and culture, community programming for 112 years and has now become a large-scale childcare provider.    It is the only property restored to any Japanese Canadian organization or individual after the property dispossesion of all Japanese Canadians at the beginning of World War II and the Internment.
